Joined Panania Memorial Bowling Club as a bowler in 2002 and transferred to Club Picnic Point in 2008.
Worked in the building industry, as a self-employed bricklayer/concreter/builder.
Studied Landscaping and Horticulture, became self employed in this industry. In later years used this qualification to obtain a position as a Quarantine Officer.
Married Jan in 1965 – 3 Sons
Also held voluntary positions in YMCA, Scouts, Bush walking Club & Bowling Clubs
